Through all of these years that we’ve been together

And all the ups and downs together we have weathered

 

The one thing that has always been there for sure

Is that no matter what happened our love would endure

 

Many Birthdays for us both have since come and gone

And yet through them all we manage to still carry on

 

The true test of one’s love is not through laughter and smiles

But sustaining that love through life’s turmoil and trials

 

Looking back my life has been good this is true

And a big part of the reason is it was with you

 

So as you set out on your next trip around the sun

I’ll be there with you through the sadness and fun
