When a loved one leaves and walks out the door

Maybe they go to work or maybe go to the store

It might be a child has grown up and is moving away

Or maybe someone we love is just going out for the day

How many times has someone left without words being said

Even while we will never know what in life lies ahead

It might be the last time that we see them for all that we know

So we need to tell them we love them every time that they go

I want my loved ones to know that if life ends for me after you leave

I want you to remember I LOVE YOU as the last words from me
