We awaken into this world with nothing on our back
Dependent on our parents to provide everything we lack
As we grow rapidly up through our childhood days
We have everything provided for us in many different ways
We don’t have to worry about how we will be clothed or how we’re fed
All we have worry about is having fun and doing what our parents said
Then one day we face new challenges that are foreign and unforeseen
We have now become an adult and are out to chase our own dreams
We find this road as adults can be bumpy and sometimes even rough
So if we want to reach our goals we have to fight hard and be tough
So remember your parent’s job in the plan is not to be your best friend
But to instill in you the skills you need to be successful in the end
